Electronic ballot system
The Electoral Reform Society have been conducting elections for the SCTS for a number of years. It was agreed at the Executive meeting on 7th October 2011 to move from the paper based to electronic system. Only the method of registering the votes will change, no other aspect of the process will be altered. In the elections for President-Elect and Trustees later this year, ballot papers will be sent to the e-mail address that SCTS holds for you. President-elect (2012-2014)
The current President Prof David Taggart will demit office in April 2012 and Mr James Roxburgh will take his place as President of the Society. We would like to congratulate Mr Tim Graham for his success in the most recent election fo the role of President-elect and he will take up post at the ABM in April 2012.
Trustees (2012-2015)
We would like to congratulate Mr Ed Black and Mr Jonathan Hydefor their success in the most recent trustees’ election in 2011. We also would like to thank Mr Ian Wilson and Professor Marjan Jahangiri, who are stepping down, for all their hard work and valuable contribution.
