Wet Lab and Postgraduate Day

Postgraduate Day

The Postgraduate Day, held by the Society, is taking place on Sunday, 18 March 2001 commencing with Lunch at 12.30hrs. There will be a number of eminent speakers during the afternoon as well as the Trainees Meeting. The Postgraduate afternoon will be followed by the Welcome Reception in the Exhibition. The cost of the Postgraduate day is £20 (including lunch).

Wet Lab

A Wet Lab will take place on Sunday, 18 March 2001 between 10.00-12.30hrs. During this session individuals should become confident with the insertion of a bileaflet mechanical heart valve in the aortic root and the principles of the enlargement of the aortic root. The session is aimed at Specialist Registrars at any level of experience but particularly years 1-4. The Wet Lab has been organised by St Jude Medical. Registrar that wish to attend the Wet Lab will also need to register for the Postgraduate Day. The cost of attending the Wet Lab + Postgraduate Day (including lunch) is £70.00. Please note that there are a limited number of spaces and these will be issued on a first come first served basis.
