General Information
The 2001 Annual Meeting of the Society will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham from Sunday, 18 March to Wednesday, 21 March 2001.
Location
The East Midlands Conference Centre is part of the University of Nottingham. The motorway network is only a few miles away and high speed rail travel means that London is less than two hours away by train. As well as rail links, there are also frequent bus services. The East Midlands International Airport is just 20 minutes drive, making the University of Nottingham easily accessible from anywhere in the world.
Venue
The East Midlands Conference Centre is unique in both its location and its adaptability as an all purpose conference and event venue. Standing in 300 acres of landscaped parkland, the setting creates an ambient and peaceful atmosphere conducive to thinking, working and relaxing, yet it is only ten minutes away from the thriving city centre of Nottingham.
Annual Dinner
The SCTS Annual Dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday, 20 March 2001 in the Great Hall situated in the Trent Building at the University of Nottingham. Reception drinks will be served at 20.00hrs and the Dinner will be served at 20.30hrs. Coaches will pick up from all hotels and return after Dinner. The cost for the dinner is £45.00. Please note that the Annual Dinner is a black tie event.

There will be a Welcome Reception in the Exhibition Area on the evening on Sunday, 18 March hosted by the Exhibitors. The Welcome Reception is included in the delegate fee.
