Revalidation 2008

Revalidation Lead for SCTS, by Steve Livesey, Dec 2008. The GMC’s new categories of Good Medical Practice are likely to form the basis for the setting of standards. The categories are: • Knowledge, skills and performance • Safety and quality • Communication and teamwork • Maintaining trust However, it is not yet clear to me exactly how the standards set will map to these domains. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeons 2003

This document serves as a recommendation from the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (SCTS) as to what constitutes appropriate CPD for their consultant members.
